An incident towards the end of the first half between Chelsea and Manchester United has been largely missed by pundits and those watching on.
In fact, we saw little evidence that anyone noticed Cesc Fabregas kicking out at Chris Smalling during Manchester United’s 1-1 draw with Chelsea, besides a few people on Twitter.
Smalling used his physical presence to cleanly win the ball from the Chelsea midfielder.
Fabregas was pushed off the pitch and responded with a cheeky kick on Smalling.

Will the FA investigate?
It seems unlikely since the mainstream media have not made a big deal of the incident, but it is a rather cheeky move from Fabregas.
And, Fabregas has history with Manchester United, having infamously thrown pizza at Sir Alex Ferguson after The Invincibles run came to an end at Old Trafford.
Chelsea face Newcastle at home in the Premier League on Saturday before a crucial Champions League first leg at PSG on Tuesday week.
