Reports from KickOff Magazine Online say that Golden Arrows coach Clinton Larsen says they are working on a plan to stop in-form Mamelodi Sundowns when they meet in their PSL match-up on Saturday.

The Brazilians are yet to taste a defeat in the League since losing to the very same Golden Arrows on 12 September last year.

And Larsen is looking to end their 15-match unbeaten run in the League when they meet again this weekend.

Coach Clinton Larsen was quoted saying:

“We don't worry about Sundowns - we are working on a plan to try and stop the so called ‘Yellow machine’,” Larsen said.

“We know it is going to be a difficult task. I think everybody is aware the type of football that team is playing and they are blessed with talented players.

“Pitso Mosimane has got them playing oozing with confidence. So it is going to be a difficult task for us, but the win against Polokwane City has given us confidence going into that game.”

“With regards to the title, I don't think it is over yet. Many people are thinking Sundowns have wrapped it up, but I don't think so. I think there will be one or two surprise results before the end of the season.

“For us, making the top eight this season is going to be one hell of a challenge. We got the likes of Ajax fighting us. You’ve got SuperSport which I believe under Stuart Baxter are going to improve and move up the table.

“Orlando Pirates are getting better as well, so in order to make a top eight this season, is going to be a hell of an effort.

“But that's our target: to try and get into top eight. We aiming for 40 points and hopefully it will be enough to get into the top eight.”

With the Brazilians leading second placed Bidvest Wits by nine points, Larsen also feels that the League is still far from finished and that there could be few surprise results in the coming matches.
