According to Soccer Laduma, Two French Clubs Are Tracking Mamelodi Sundowns' Khama Billiat,

Mamelodi Sundowns forward, Khama Billiat, has attracted the interest of two French Ligue 1 outfits.

According to Siya sources, the former Ajax Cape Town man could be heading to Europe in the near future, with both Lille OSC and AS Monaco FC said to be tracking his progress.

Last year, in February, the Siya crew revealed that Lille was keen on the player and that the club sent scout, Christophe Jeannot, to come to South Africa and watch the Zimbabwean international play.

The source confirmed that both sides have previously sent scouts to watch Billiat in action and he could follow teammate, Bongani Zungu to Europe, after ‘Ben 10’ agreed to join Portuguese side, Vitoria de Guimaraes at the end of the current season, amidst interest from teams in Belgium, England and Germany.

A source reported that:

“It seems the interest is a lot higher compared to the first time Lille were interested in him. Now there are actually two teams interested and it will all depend on which one really wants to sign him.”

Billiat, who is one of the three 'CBD' members, has been in outstanding form for Masandawana, having netted eight goals and contributing eight assists in Sundowns’ league games thus far this season.

“It will be difficult for Sundowns to lose two key players in a short space of time after already losing Zungu, but let's wait and see,” the source concluded.
