According to News24.com, SuperSport United coach Stuart Baxter has backed Mamelodi Sundowns to claim the Absa Premiership title this season, saying he can't envisage anyone catching Pitso Mosimane's side.
Baxter is all to aware of what is required to win the league crown, having done just that while at the helm of Kaizer Chiefs.
In fact, the Scotsman won two league titles as well as two cup competitions (Nedbank Cup and MTN 8) before departing the club at the end of the 2014/15 campaign.
"They are doing what we did [at Chiefs]. They are running away, looking like they won't be caught," Baxter said as quoted by Business Day.
Stuart Baxter was further quoted by Business Day saying:
"But you know that it creates pressure as well. If Sundowns were to lose the same time as some of their competitors string together a few good results, then it's wide open again.
"But at this moment you can't see that happening. At this time you think Sundowns are doing so well that they are going to run the boat to shore.
"They have got good players. Unless they slip up somewhere, I can only see them carrying it away."
Baxter will come up against his former employers on Saturday evening, when SuperSport travel to Cape Town to face Steve Komphela's side at the Cape Town Stadium.
Matsatsantsa currently occupy eighth place in the Absa Premiership standings 24 points from 18 fixtures, while Chiefs are in fourth, having picked up 35 points from 19 fixtures.
