According to barca blaugranes.com, Barack Obama and his family want to talk to the Argentine superstar.

Barack Obama - the President of the United States, of course - wants to arrange a meeting between his two daughters and Barcelona megastar Lionel Messi.

Obama is in Argentina, Messi's country of birth, on a two-day diplomatic trip. While not dancing the tango, The President spoke to the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative Town Hall in Buenos Aires about many topics, including who his daughters - 17-year-old Malia and 14-year-old Sasha - wanted to meet.

USA president was quoted saying:

"I wanted to bring my daughters here, so they could see the beauty and the vibrancy of this city," Obama said. "They've already met one famous Argentinean -- His Holiness Pope Francis. Now they want to meet [Lionel] Messi, but I could not arrange that."

If you want to meet Messi and haven’t yet, don’t be too sad. It’s not that easy, even for one of the most powerful men in the world, to arrange a meeting.

Is Cristiano Ronaldo about to become a father for the second time?

According to hello magazine online news, The football legend, who is already a dad to five-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, played for his team Real Madrid CF, beating Celta Vigo on 5 March. However, the 7-1 victory for Cristiano's team wasn't the only talking point of the dramatic game.

The father-of-one had everyone speculating when he put a football under his shirt after scoring a goal, hinting at his past comments of wanting to add to his family.

"Five or six children? Why not? I have the necessary means and want them," he said during an interview with FHM magazine. "I just need to find the right woman."

The athlete split from Russian model Irina Shayk last year and has not been romantically linked to anyone since.

In November, he spoke candidly about how the experience of becoming father to Cristiano Jr changed his life for the better.

"It's been incredible. I never imagined that my life would change so much," the star footballer told Spanish news agency EFE. "It was always my dream to have a child young, when I was 25. He's changed the way I think, he's always with me, supporting me."

The star, who tends to keep his private life under wraps, has never revealed the name of his child's mother and has full custody, looking after him with help from his motherDolores.

Blues keen on signing Mats Hummels

According to squawka online news, Chelsea are reportedly keen on a summer move for Mats Hummels, who already knows of the Blues’ interest in him.

John Terry is set to leave the west London club at the end of this season, with the captain having not been offered an extension to his current contract, which expires in June.

Fellow centre-back Kurt Zouma suffered a long-term injury in February, whilst Gary Cahill was heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge a month prior (via the Independent).

Meanwhile, Matt Miazga is yet to play a game for Chelsea and 34-year-old Branislav Ivanovic has endured a patchy run of form, leaving the club potentially short of quality centre-back options next season.

According to the Daily Mirror, the Blues want to address that by signing Borussia Dortmund star Mats Hummels.

The 2014 World Cup winner is “aware” of Chelsea’s pursuit of his signature, the report claims.

Furthermore, the source suggests that Hummels is now presented with a dilemma over whether to accept a lucrative contract from the Premier League side, but also drop out of the Champions League for at least a season.

The Dortmund defender has played in 24/26 Bundesliga matches this term, receiving a mere one yellow card.

He has won a higher proportion of his duels (66%) than any other Dortmund outfielder, with his record in headers (72% success rate) being particularly impressive.

John Obi Mikel To Be Chelsea's New Captain

According to football fan cast online news, Chelsea star John Obi Mikel has been named as the new captain of Nigeria ahead of their African Cup of Nation qualifiers, according to reports from the London Evening Standard.

Mikel has been plying his trade with the Blues since 2006, the same year he made his Nigeria debut as a young 18-year-old midfielder.

And after making 72 caps for the Super Eagles, the 28-year-old has finally been named as the new captain for his country, replacing CSKA Moscow star Ahmed Musa as the new holder of the armband.

However, Musa, who is a target for Premier League leaders Leicester City, has no issues with giving Mikel the captaincy, citing that the Chelsea midfielder is correctly the most experience player in the squad.

Alfred Musa nigerian team mate was quoted saying:

“Mikel is the oldest serving player in the team and it is the right thing for him to have the armband,” he said.

“This is just to correct what was done in the past.”

Mikel has been heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge this past season due to the high number of players competing for a place in Chelsea’s midfield, with Cesc Fabregas and Nemanja Matic ahead of him in the pecking order.

Chelsea revelation: Eden Hazard's incredible Real Madrid snub

According to daily star football news online, CHELSEA star Eden Hazard snubbed a move to Real Madrid in 2012, according to Spanish sources.

Don Balon claim the La Liga giants were eyeing the midfield maestro before his £32m Stamford Bridge switch from Lille.

It's claimed the current Real boss Zinedine Zidane recommended the playmaker when he was working for the club in an advisory capacity.

And although Real president Florentino Perez was keen to make a move for the Belgium ace, Hazard ignored the Galacticos' advances and joined Chelsea instead.

The Blues star has been heavily linked with a move to La Liga in the summer.

Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda claimed earlier this week that Perez is discussing a deal with Hazard's representatives.

And the Real bigwig is also rumoured to have entered negotiations with Chelsea who could be tempted to cash in on the crocked star.

The influential ace suffered with hip and groin problems in the Champions League match against Paris St-Germain earlier this month.

Hazard's father explained to the Belgian press after the clash that his son had been playing through the pain barrier for around four months.

He has managed 132 appearances for the west Londoners, scoring 37 goals.

Incoming Chelsea boss Antonio Conte: This is the man I want in my team

According to express football news online, ANTONIO CONTE admits he wants to link up with Arturo Vidal again.

The Italy manager is set to take over at Chelsea in the summer after the European Championships.

And Conte admits he would like to have the Bayern Munich man in his midfield.

Last week, Vidal admitted he would ‘go to war’ with Conte, who managed him at Juventus.

And Conte admits he’d welcome the chance to work with the midfielder once again.

Antonio Conte was quoted saying:

“I’d take Vidal too. He’s an amazing player. I must admit at Juve I found him hard to fit in,” the Italy coach told El Pais, according to goal.com.

"In my head I wanted to play a 4-2-4 and 4-4-2, but seeing the intensity of Vidal getting up and down the pitch I switched to a 4-3-3 which then transformed into 3-5-2.

“He has extraordinary physical and technical attributes, if I get to coach him a little more it’d be fantastic.

“I want him in all my teams.”

Napoli ace Allan could move to Premier League, admits star’s agent

According to Metro news online, Chelsea and Liverpool have been put on alert after the agent of Napoli star Allan admitted his client could move to England this summer.

The Brazilian midfielder moved to Naples last summer from Serie A rivals Udinese and he’s impressed as Maurizio Sarri’s battle it out with Juventus for the Scudetto.

The 25-year-old rejected moves to the Premier League last year in order to stay in Italy but the interest in the former Brazil U20 man has increased given his fine performances.

And Allan’s agent, Claudio Vagheggi, has opened up the possibility of him moving to England with talkSPORT touting Chelsea and Liverpool as possible destinations.

Napoli ace Allan was quoted saying:

‘Could Allan go to England? Business is business, I’d see nothing wrong with that if all the sides were happy with the terms of the deal,’ Vagheggi told Radio Crc.

‘But the first thing I’d do would be go to see the club and see if the contract can be improved, because he doesn’t earn much.’

Mamelodi Sundowns' Hlompho Kekana focused on maximum points from clash with Bloemfontein Celtic

According to KickOff Online magazine, Mamelodi Sundowns midfield enforcer Hlompho Kekana says it is business as usual ahead of tonight's clash with his former club Bloemfontein Celtic at Lucas Moripe Stadium.

Sundowns - unbeaten in 23 domestic matches in a row - are closing in on Absa Premiership honours as they enjoy a seven-point lead at the summit with eight fixtures left.

Phunya Sele Sele are contrastingly looking to end a run of five straight defeats in all competitions as they sit five points above the drop zone in 12th place on the table.

Hlompho Kekana was quoted saying:

“As Mamelodi Sundowns we really need points more than anybody else if you check our position on the log,” says Kekana, who traded Celtic for Downs in August 2011.

“We need to apply ourselves like we have been doing in each and every match we have been playing and try to win the match. I am quite confident we can do that. We just to have to go there apply ourselves and win the match.”

The Bafana Bafana returnee adds: “As players we have set ourselves goals that we wanna achieve at the end of the season. By doing that we have to take each game one at a time.”

Antonio Conte to Chelsea: Italy coach reveals desire to return to club management

According to Standard.co.uk online news, Antonio Conte has admitted his desire to return to club management is the reason behind his decision to step down as Italy coach this summer.

The 46-year-old's departure from the Azzurri was confirmed on Tuesdayafter Italian Football Federation President, Carlo Tavecchio, said Conte had informed him that he did not intend on renewing his deal past the summer.

The former Juventus boss is set to be announced as Chelsea's new manager, with Conte thought to have already agreed terms on a three-year contract worth £4.75m-a-year after tax.

And the current Italy boss has now admitted he is keen to return to the day-to-day workings at a club, although he stressed he remains fully focused on leading the Azzurri to success at the Euros in France first.

Antonio Conte was quoted saying:

"I feel that I must go back to being a coach in a club to have the opportunity of coaching every day," he wrote on his official Facebook page on Tuesday.

Diego Costa to move back to Atlético Madrid?

According to the guardian online news, Diego Costa has had enough of England. The amorous Chelsea forward wants to live in a country where they’re not so emotionally stunted that they can’t tell the difference between a malevolent bite and a spot of heavy petting, which is why he’s being linked with a move back to the sensitive-loving Atlético Madrid. And if Costa does go, that should pave the way for Alex Pato to make his name atChelsea. Step right up, Alex, it’s your turn. Alex? Alex? Has anyone seen Alex?

Hmmm. No one appears to have heard from Pato. Not to worry, though, becauseprospective Chelsea boss is already drawing up his last of targets for the summer. He wants to rival Manchester City for Paul Pogba, while he’s also planning moves for Leonardo Bonucci, Radja Nainggolan and Arturo Vidal. Little does he know that he’s going to end up with Robinho, Sebastian Giovinco, Rodrigo Palacio and Richard Keogh, while Barcelona are being linked with Kenedy.

Manchester United want to sign Barcelona’s Marc-Andre ter Stegen when David de Gea inevitably thinks “EFF THIS I’M NOT BAILING THESE JOKERS OUTANY MORE” and does one in the summer.

Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang really, really, really, wants to join either Arsenal or United, honest. But here’s the thing, see, he promised his grandfather that he’d sign for Real Madrid one day, so it’s out of his hands, he’s just going to have to move to the Bernabeu. Honestly, he’d rather it didn’t have to be this way, he’s always dreamt of playing right-back for Louis van Gaal.

Zlatan “Zlatan” Ibrahimovic has three options for his next club. United, Bayern Munich and former flame Milan are all interested.

Stoke City have identified Zenit St Petersburg’s Axel Witsel as the new Glenn Whelan.

And finally, Bolton Wanderers have decided who they want as Neil Lennon’s replacement. They’re stocking up on the fake tan and bluetooth headsets, because Phil Brown is coming home.

According to the star online news, Cosmetic queen Dr Vida failed to meet Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo during a visit there after a scheduled meeting was called off at the last minute.

Nevertheless, Datuk Seri Hasmiza Othman, founder of Vida Beauty Sdn Bhd and sponsor of the Kelantan football team, did not return home totally disappointed.

She had a picture taken with a lifesize cut-out of Cristiano at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium for remembrance.

Datuk Seri Hasmiza Othman was quoted saying:

"I was disappointed. I had planned for it (meeting Cristiano) but no luck,” Hasmiza said in an interview with The Star Online Malay news portal mStar.

"Although it was only a picture of Ronaldo, I felt consoled and that made the feeling of disappointment go away.

"Visiting the stadium gave me valuable insights to take home to Kelantan," she said of her visit to Real Madrid on Tuesday.

Hasmiza said she studied the designs of the stadium to see if they could be applied to the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium in Kota Baru, Kelantan.

"During a visit earlier (Tuesday afternoon local time), I was impressed by the design of the stadium that can accommodate 85,000 fans.

"Not only just the stadium, it is also a living history of the team since the beginning of its establishment. The seats, roof pitch are unique enough as a tourist attraction.

"Just imagine if the blue stadium is located in Kota Baru but pink, undoubtedly it will be a new landmark in Kelantan," she said.

Hasmiza and her entourage later watched the Champions League match between Atletico Madrid and PSV Eindhoven at Vicente Calderon Stadium, Madrid. Atletico beat PSV 8-7 on penalties after both teams were tied 0-0 after extra time.

Hasmiza has signed a two-year deal worth RM16mil with the Kelantan Football Association (KAFA) to become the first team in Malaysian history to don pink jerseys.

Not only will the Kelantan players be wearing pink jerseys, their home venue – Sultan Mohd IV Stadium in Kota Baru – will also be painted in the same colour. -Translated by Johan A Hulaimi

Real Madrid Turn Down Chances To Sign Chicharito For 23 Million Euros

According to Goal.com, Real Madrid turned down the chance to buy Javier Hernandez for €23 million from Manchester United, according to details of the striker's loan agreement.

The Mexican forward, now with Bayern Leverkusen, cost the Blancos over €6m over the 12 months he played for the Spanish giants, where he scored nine times in 33 appearances

Chicharito became the latest player to fall under the spotlight of Football Leaks, the website which has courted controversy by publishing the inner workings of contracts and transfer deals.

And after the likes of Gareth Bale and Radamel Falcao, the details of the Mexico international's temporary switch to Madrid was uncovered on Monday by the site.

In documents released by the site, Madrid paid out over €6 million for the year Hernandez played in Spain.

United received €3m for the deal, while the player was paid a total of €3.2m over the course of the year, on top of a declared salary of €6,000 a month.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang 'promised his grandfather' that he would play for Real Madrid as he rules out a move to PSG

According to reports from the daily mail online, Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has reaffirmed his desire to join Real Madrid and revealed the very personal reason as to why he wants a move to the Spanish capital.

The Gabon international has been linked to the La Liga giants after a prolific season for Thomas Tuchel's Bundesliga outfit, Dortmund, for whom he has scored 30 goals in all competitions.

And the 26-year-old has now explained that he would like a move to Zinedine Zidane's side as he has promised his grandfather that he will one day play for Los Blancos.

Paris Saint-Germain have also been mentioned in connection with him but the former Dijon, Lille, Monaco and Saint-Etienne hitman has no plans to return to Ligue 1, insisting that new challenges
interest him.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was quoted on beIN sports saying:
"PSG? That's not my objective, I can't say anything else about it. I can't see any reason to go back to France when I left three years ago."

'Real Madrid? There is no agreement but I promised my grandfather I would play there one day,' he added.

'Why wouldn't I want to discover new things? As I've said several times, I'd like to play in Spain and have good weather for once in my life!'

Aubameyang has previously described running out for Real at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium as his 'childhood dream' but maintains his position that rumours of a move this summer are 'bulls**t'.

The rapid hitman has triple nationality with France, Gabon and Spain, given his French upbringing, Gabonese father and Spanish mother, and could be line for a move to Madrid further down the line.

Aubameyang has helped propel Dortmund to second in the league table, with 61 points from 26 games, just five behind table-toppers, Bayern Munich.

Meanwhile Real, who began the season with Rafael Benitez in charge, have endured a difficult term in La Liga, and lie in third place with 63 points from 29 games, 12 behind leaders, Barcelona.

Chelsea's Belgian winger: " I Am A Real Madrid Fan, It Is In My Head Now."

According to soccerlens online news, Chelsea loanee Charly Musonda has voiced his intention to stay in the La Liga and play for big Spanish clubs. The 19-year-old joined Real Betis during the January transfer window, and so far he has done well for the Spanish side.

He made his debut against Valencia, and was adjudged man of the match for his performance. He tasted his first defeat at the top level after six matches unbeaten run with Betis, when his side lost 3-1 to Athletic Bilbao on Sunday.

The defeat didn’t seem to rattle him, rather he voiced his intentions to stay in the Spanish league in the next season.

Charly Musonda was quoted after the game saying:

“I am happy here. My favourite clubs are in Spain. Since I was little, I’m a fan of Barcelona and Real Madrid. I learned Spanish to be able to come here.”

“I want to stay here. It’s in my head now, but we do not know what could happen next season. The future is uncertain, but it is possible that I stay next season. It’s better that I play here rather than being a back-up at Chelsea.”

Betis are comfortably placed at 11th in the La Liga table and are eight points from away from the relegation zone.

The loan move has worked really well for the young Belgian winger. He has helped Betis climb up the table with his offensive contributions on the pitch. And it seems he is enjoying his football and already feels at home with the league.

He has good dribbling skills and La Liga could be an ideal league for his development. Chelsea are in no hurry to bring him back at the club, as he would not get sufficient game time at the Bridge. Moving back to Chelsea don’t help the player and the Blues would not benefit as well.

The ideal situation here is to let him continue to develop in Spain, extend his loan move for one or two years, and then take a decision whether he is good enough to make an impact in the Chelsea senior team.

Real Madrid To Offer James Rodriguez In Chelsea FC Swap Deal

According to reports from the pride of london online news, Real Madrid will supposedly offer Chelsea FC James Rodriguez in return for Eden Hazard in a mega summer swap deal, according to the latest reports.

With Chelsea’s 2015/16 campaign now truly dead in the water, attention has already been refocused on the huge rebuilding task that the incoming permanent boss has on his hands. As rumours continue to do the rounds, the latest sensational report claims that Eden Hazard and James Rodriguez will swap teams in a deal for the ages.

The Sun is the source of the story, as they state that the Spanish giants may be willing to get rid of the expensive Colombian talent after a disappointing campaign.

Real Madrid could offer Chelsea a sensational swap deal to sign Eden Hazard in exchange for James Rodriguez. Sunsport understands the Spanish giants are considering making this offer after the £70million Colombia superstar’s poor season.

Hazard has been the subject of fervent speculation since the turn of the year. The Belgian endured an abysmal start to the campaign, a marked change from the performances that won him countless plaudits and accolades last season. He has teased a return to form since the managerial switch, but it is yet to fully materialise.

As a result, many have feared that the winger is now headed for the Stamford Bridge exit. Hazard didn’t help matters either when he failed to rule out a move to PSG. With this report, it is evident that the murmurs will not die down as the summer transfer window closes in.

However, what is most unfortunate is the fact that many Blues fans will not be too concerned with letting Hazard go. In a indication of just how far the Belgian’s star has fallen, certain Chelsea supporters will happily take a deal should the terms be right.

This proposed offer, should it have any grounding, could be one that makes the 25-year-old expendable. Rodriguez has struggled at the Santiago Bernabeu in this campaign, although some injury troubles have not helped. Nevertheless, Florentino Perez may use him as bait to secure a player that Real Madrid have reportedly been trailing for some time.

For Chelsea, as they plan their summer rebuild, this could be a step in the right direction. They are in dire need of a refresh and bringing in an exciting, albeit currently stagnating, talent such as Rodriguez is exactly what the Blues need. Still only 24 years of age, the Colombian may well blossom at Stamford Bridge and truly fulfill his potential.

Willard Katsande, Chesyn Jampies head PSL suspensions

According to KickOff online magazine, Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Willard Katsande is suspended for their midweek Absa Premiership clash against Jomo Cosmos.

Katsande was booked in their 2-0 defeat to Platinum Stars last week and now has to sit out a game as Amakhosi look to avoid an unprecedented fourth successive defeat on Tuesday night.

Coach Steve Komphela will hope to have the experienced Reneilwe Letsholonyane back in the squad for the Cosmos clash after he missed the cut against Dikwena.

On the other side, new Bafana Bafana call-up Cheslyn Jampies will be unavailable for Cosmos after his two-footed tackle on Luvuyo Memela on Saturday night that earned him a straight red card.

Jampies will therefore miss the chance to showcase his talent against Chiefs this week as he starts a two-match ban.

Struggling Bloemfontein Celtic travel to Mamelodi Sundowns on Wednesday night without defender Mbhazima Rikhotso, and Bidvest Wits striker Joaquim Lupeta has also picked up his fourth booking and misses out against Orlando Pirates.

Chelsea striker Diego Costa unlikely to face disciplinary action following Gareth Barry incident

According to independent news online, Diego Costa is unlikely to face disciplinary action having appeared to bite Everton midfielder Gareth Barry during Chelsea's 2-0 FA Cup quarter-final defeat.

Television cameras focused on Costa nuzzling his mouth into Barry's neck six minutes from time, and it looked as if the Spain striker was prepared to bite him.

Costa appeared to think better of it, though he was still dismissed for a second bookable offence after grappling with the England international.

Gareth Barry quoted about the incident on Fanzai website saying:

"Seen a lot of talk about the incident between me and Diego Costa in the game last night, for the record, Diego did not bite me."

The Football Association is awaiting referee Michael Oliver's report before making a judgement on Costa's latest misdemeanour, but Barry's comments will certainly help his case that nothing untoward took place.

Costa will, however, definitely receive an automatic one-match ban for his sending-off - as will Barry, who followed him down the tunnel minutes later after collecting his own second yellow card in the game.

Barry will miss Everton's Barclays Premier League home game against Arsenal on Saturday, while Costa will sit out West Ham's visit to Stamford Bridge on the same day.

Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink, who said his player had been "chased" during the game, later joked that he and Costa should go together to watch the film "Anger Management" after a catalogue of incidents since his £32 million arrival at Stamford Bridge during the summer of 2014.

Costa is no stranger to controversy and had collected his 10th Chelsea yellow card of the season before seeing red.

Downs Monitor Bucs' Star Midfielder

According to Soccer Laduma online news,
Mamelodi Sundowns Monitor Orlando Pirates Star Midfielder For Bongani Zungu Replacement

Mamelodi Sundowns are looking at Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana midfielder, Mpho Makola, as a possible replacement for Bongani Zungu, despite the Buccaneers’ unlikeliness to let him go.

There are whispers circulating within the Sundowns corridors that the Chloorkop-based side is assessing 'Bibo', as a long-term replacement for the departing 'Ben 10', who has signed a pre-contract with Portuguese Primeira Liga club Vitoria de Guimaraes FC.

The club previously indicated that they had identified a South American as a possible replacement for Zungu, after the Siya crew reported that Argentine midfielder Alexis Sebastian Cabrera Coronas was being monitored.

However, with the Argentine unlikely to join the Brazilians, the club is assessing their options. Last week the Siya crew identified potential targets to replace Zungu, however the latest news reaching the crew’s desk is that Makola’s name has been bandied around at Chloorkop.

It is however unlikely that Bucs will let one of their star players leave and with his contract only expiring in 2018, the Soweto giants will have the final say.

According to a well-placed Siya source, a Sundowns scout has been monitoring Makola.

“The technical team is looking for Bongani Zungu’s replacement and so far they haven't decided on that player but they are monitoring Mpho Makola from Orlando Pirates,” the source said.

The only way that Pirates will be tempted to sell the player is if they receive an offer that is too good to turn down, or if an attractive swop deal is brought to the table.

Notable players that have made the switch from Bucs to Downs in recent times include Teko Modise and Lebohang Mokoena.

Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela concedes difficult task in catching Mamelodi Sundowns

According to KickOff online magazine, Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela insists he is no quitter but accepts his team face a difficult task in trying to reel in Absa Premiership leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.

Chiefs' title defence took strain last night following a 2-0 loss to high-flying Platinum Stars at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium.

The Glamour Boys trail Sundowns by 13 points with eight matches left.

Kaizer Chiefs Coach Steve Komphela was quoted saying:

"They don't give away matches. They are in a rich vein of form," Komphela says of the Brazilians.

"They could get three chances and they will take two, that's how they are flying. To make matters worse, we are not doing ourselves any favours.

"I am not a quitter. I am not the kind of the person that gives in but I acknowledge the fact that it is becoming more difficult."

Downs, who are unbeaten in 23 domestic matches (league and cup), are seven points ahead of closest rivals Bidvest Wits.

Pitso Mosimane wanted Bloemfontein Celtic game moved

According to KickOff magazine online, Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has lamented the timing of their Absa Premiership fixture against Bloemfontein Celtic scheduled for next week Wednesday.

The Brazilians will turn their attention back to the continental campaign as they host AC Leopards in the first leg of the CAF Champions League first round at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday evening, without having to worry about a domestic fixture in midweek.

However, Mosimane says he would have loved to face Celtic this week instead of next, due to the hectic travel schedule they face in their tip to Congo Brazzaville for the return leg against Leopards next weekend.

Coach Pitso Mosimane was quoted saying:

“I would have loved to swap,” ‘Jingles’ said after being asked whether he is happy to have a full week to prepare for their home fixture against Leopards.

“This is why: Before the next Congo [trip] going away, I’ve got Bloem Celtic and I’m going away. I know when people listen they say, ‘he’s complaining’ - okay, so be it, but I’m telling the truth; it’s a fact.

“It might sound like a complaint, but it would have been much better [to play] when I’m not travelling because I’m home [in the Champions League].”

The former Bafana Bafana mentor is aware of the rigorous trip they face to Dolisie, where The Beasts from Niari are based, and questions whether his squad will have sufficient time to travel, rest and prepare for their match, which is yet to have its kick-off day and time confirmed by the home side.

“But now, you tell me now, how am I going to get to Dolisie? I’ve got a Wednesday fixture… Ha, guys, I don’t know. I don’t want to talk… I don’t know, I’ll leave it there.”

Agent provides Pato fitness update and denies Guus Hiddink rumours

According to London 24 news, Pato’s agent says the player’s wait for a Chelsea debut is ‘normal’ and has defended claims Guus Hiddink was against the Brazilian’s arrival.

The former AC Milan forward arrived on loan from Corinthians just three days before the January window shut but over five weeks later is still waiting for his Chelsea bow.

But he is expected to be in the matchday squad to face Paris Saint-Germain tomorrow night and was an unused substitute against Stoke on the weekend having hit the required level of fitness.

Gilmar Veloz has told Rádio Bandeirantes was quoted saying:

“It’s not up to Pato,” he explained. “His team has players who were already there, he needs to get a sequence, not to come and play. It’s the manager who decides. It’s a normal situation, where you get to a club which, since we arrived, only wins.

“Since he arrived, he trains with all the group, but only physically. After the third week, he started to get to the level of the others. It’s the second game he travels to. It’s normal, the team is scoring goals.”

Veloz also denied speculation that Guus Hiddink was not keen on Pato’s arrival and that is why the Brazil international is yet to be involved. There was nothing about it, actually it’s the opposite,” he added.

“He (Hiddink) received Pato very well, gave an interview talking about the signing. It’s not like here in Brazil, where they arrive and they are picked to play.

He was clear: he has to be in the same level as all the others are, to know how the system is, to know how they play.”

Chelsea boss urges under pressure duo to ‘make it at European level’

According to London 24 news, Guus Hiddink wants under-fire pair Diego Costa and Eden Hazard to send Chelsea into the Champions League quarter-finals at the expense of Paris St Germain on Wednesday night.

PSG’s social media team upped the ante on the eve of the last-16 second leg at Stamford Bridge with a video montage of masked super heroes titled ‘Spot the fraud’, which also included Costa, who has been playing with a protective mask due to a broken nose.

PSG boss Laurent Blanc also warned his players not to be provoked by Costa, who has a reputation for riling opponents. Costa, available after missing last Saturday’s draw with Stoke as a precaution over a minor tendon problem, has scored 10 goals in 14 games under Hiddink, but has just one Champions League goal in two seasons and 14 games with the Blues.

Guus Hiddink was quoted saying:

“I’m very proud of him the way he’s playing and, going not over the edge, but he likes to fight in the   real way of the game,” Hiddink said. “That’s what we like. I protect him and support him when he’s   doing what he has done in my period at Chelsea.

“In the Premier League he frequently is scoring now, since December, January. Let’s see and hope he  can make it to the European level as well.”

Hiddink, who is without captain John Terry due to a hamstring injury, also issued a robust defence of  Hazard.

The Belgium playmaker, Chelsea’s leading performer in last season’s Premier League and Capital One Cup double, has been underwhelming this term.

Hazard on the eve of the first leg suggested a move to PSG would be too good an opportunity to turn down, stoking speculation he is angling for a switch this summer.

He was substituted in the 2-1 loss at Parc des Princes, but Hiddink attributed that to his return from a groin injury.

Hiddink added: “At that time when he was playing away in Paris he was in that period just coming back from a rather severe injury.

“We are some weeks further into the league and game fitness. He can and must show what he is  capable of, which is more than the away game.”

Chelsea’s only defeat since the appointment of Hiddink as interim successor to the sacked Jose Mourinho was in Paris on February 15, but John Obi Mikel’s away goal leaves the tie finely poised.
The sides are meeting for the third successive season.

Chelsea won the quarter-final tie in 2014 on away goals, but were defeated at the last-16 stage in 2015 by the same method.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be determined to make an impression after missing the 2014 second leg through injury and his first-half dismissal 12 months ago at Stamford Bridge.

Ibrahimovic afterwards called Chelsea players “babies” for their role in his dismissal, believing Dutch referee Bjorn Kuipers had been hounded into the decision for a challenge on Oscar which was more clumsy than malicious.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was quoted saying:

“From the last game here I never saw something like that before from mature players,” Ibrahimovic said.

“Hopefully I will stay on the pitch longer than the last time to have a possibility to do things I’m good at. (But) revenge, absolutely not. What happened in the past happened in the past.”

Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink breaks 22-year-old Premier League record

According to a different league online news, Chelsea weren’t able to gain three points during their home encounter with Stoke City, as Mame Biram Diouf erased Bertrand Traore’s first half goal, resulting in a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge.

However, the Blues once again didn’t suffer a loss, which means coach Guus Hiddink has started his second stint with Chelsea by not losing any of his first 12 Premier League matches.

That means the Dutchman beats the record set by Frank Clark, who remained unbeaten during his first 11 league matches with Nottingham Forest in the 1993-1994 season, according to The Daily Mail.

Terry Venables is third on this list, as he went unbeaten for his first ten matches in the English top flight after joining forces with Bryan Robson at Middlesbrough in the 2000-2001 season. Martin O’Neill managed Aston Villa to a nine-game unbeaten run in 2006, which makes him number four.

The Blues are currently ranked 10th in the standings, with 40 points, improving on their bad start to the season. However, there’s also a negative note to make. Chelsea have won just five of those 12 matches with Hiddink as coach, meaning they registered a draw on seven occasions.

Jamie Vardy is reported to have a release clause in his Leicester City contract, but will he snub chances to sign Chelsea or Manchester United?

According to hitc online news, Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has a release clause of £30 million in his contract, The Times report.

Vardy, 29, signed a new deal earlier this year, and the clause was reportedly inserted by Leicester's choice as opposed to the player's.

Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham are all cited in The Times as holding tentative January interest in the striker, and the Foxes plan to respond to any offers by simply pointing towards the clause and demanding the club pays up.

The money is a lot for a 29-year-old who it could be argued is peaking this season, while it is fair to wonder why Vardy would choose to leave Leicester in the summer for a Chelsea or Manchester United side which will not - as it stands - be playing Champions League football this season.

Vardy looks likely to go to Euro 2016 this summer, and strong performances there could be the biggest danger to Leicester with regard a club deciding to activate his release clause.

Is Vardy worth £30 million?

According to Sport24 online news, Mamelodi Sundowns have secured the signature of 13-year-old Thereso 'Messi' Chuene, who is set to join the Brazilians' development side in June.

According to Bosveld Review, the club head scout Trott Moloto traveled to Thereso's home in Lebowakgomo, Limpopo to meet with the Sundowns provincial scout Ike Pula, who had discovered Chuene during a local school tournament, and the boy's grandparents.

Pula confirmed that Abafana Bastyle are in the process of trying to bring the player to Chloorkop before June, adding that Thereso is a great talent and could be the next big thing in South African football.

Pula was then quoted saying:

"The academy is keen to take the player to Pretoria before June this year. They are still busy trying to get him space at one of the primary schools in Pretoria so that he can start training with the team.

"The boy is very talented and I am certain that he will do well in soccer fraternity and make it big," Pula told Bosveld.

There so is believed to be an incredible talent for his age and his skill on the ball often compared to Barcelona star Lionel Messi, prompting the obvious nickname from his peers.

Jacob Mafalo, who coached Thereso at local club Mmakotse Ocean Gunners FC, also expressed his joy to see the young Chuene attract the attention of a Premiership club and advised him to work hard and stay level-headed.

"The boy never played in his age group because he was matured and strong enough to play against people older than him.

"There is a lot of talent in our province and I am happy to see such a young boy earning a spot in professional football. I believe in him and I would advise him to have discipline and work hard to make his dreams a reality," he said.
