Manny Pacquiao was dropped by Nike after homophobic comments

Manny Pacquiao said that condoning same-sex relationships made people “worse than animals”.

His anti-gay comments caused outrage for many Filipinos.

He made clear that he stood by his opposition to same-sex marriage. But he said: "I'm sorry for hurting people by comparing homosexuals to animals. Please forgive me for those I've hurt. God Bless!"
