According to Soccer Laduma, Khama Billiat has shared his thoughts on injured Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana Bafana midfielder, Bongani Zungu.
'Ben 10' has already penned a pre-contract with Vitoria de Guimaraes in Portugal's top flight for next season, after a number of impressive displays for club and country.
Billiat spoke to Soccer Laduma in an exclusive interview and shared his thoughts on the untimely injury of the departing midfielder.
Khama Billiat was quoted by Soccer Laduma saying:
“It’s sad that he is injured at a time like this, but we have a big squad. That helps us during injuries and suspensions,” the Zimbabwean said.
“As for him going to Europe, we will miss him but it’s good for his career and we wish him all the best,” he concluded.
Zungu’s combination with Hlompho Kekana in the centre of the park has been largely attributed to Masandawana’s great form, prior to the 23-year-old sustaining a hairline fracture of the shin, which is expected to have him out of action until mid-April.
