The story doing the rounds is that Messi has outbid his Real Madrid rival to purchase the most expensive car in the world.
The car is a limited edition 1957 Ferrari 335 S Spider Scaglietti.
It’s very red, and it was sold by Italian mogul Alessandro Proto – who has been linked to Cristiano in recent weeks as the pair have invested together in a hotel in Monte Carlo along with Donald Trump.
As per the reports, the car was sold for 32 million euros.
That’s an eye watering amount of dosh.
Officially the buyer has remained anonymous, however Sport believe that Messi is behind the bid. Nevertheless, the were forced to write that “sources close to the player, however, deny that Messi was behind the purchase.”
